Ideas for small spaces - living room

The tiny and fabulous Manhattan living room of Michelle Adams, a former domino magazine stylist and the mastermind behind the eco-friendly Rubie Green fabric range. Adams' decor was inspired by the JK Capri Hotel in Italy.

She uses this diminutive space to work on Rubie Green projects, stashing storage and clutter behind a curtain and hanging fabric samples above an inspiration board. She scored the Jonathan Adler Bel Air Lamp at his annual sample sale.

Classic all - white kitchen

When New York interior designer Victoria Hagan bought her house, “a real fixer-upper” in Connecticut, she could see it had serious potential. The kitchen, with its view of Long Island Sound and an enormous old stove, was a space to fall for. Feminine elegance white bedroom - interior design

Decorator Joe Nye sums up this feminine bedroom as "Christian Dior in Palm Beach." Walls are painted Benjamin Moore's November Skies. The bed is from West Elm and the bed linens are from Williams-Sonoma Home. Double-gourd pink bedside lamp by Christopher Spitzmiller, through Hollyhock. Colorful living room - home interior design

Decorator Joe Nye was going for retro resort glam (give a holla for La Jolla!) in this L.A. living room. Curtain fabric is Scalamandré's Samba Stripe. The French Directoire daybed in the back left-hand corner is covered in Danby Aqua cotton by Robert Allen and welted in Lee Jofa's Crescendo Suede in rosetta. Its fuchsia and white pillows are Pali Garance, an iconic Manuel Canovas print. The turquoise chairs flanking the sofa are from Downtown; 1950s bar table is from Nick Metropolis; zebra stool is from Ames Ingham; pink and white Dhurrie rug is from Nathan Turner.
